QUANTITY
14 - 15 cookies

Ingredients

  • 170 g almond powder
  • 140 g honey
  • 90 g tahini, unsweetened
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp almond/bitter almond or vanilla extract or 1/2 sachet vanillin
  • 40 g sesame seeds

How to

  1. In a small bowl, add the sesame seeds.
  2. In another bowl, mix all the remaining ingredients until combined.
  3. Form 25 g balls, roll them in the sesame seeds and transfer them to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven (set to fan) at 355° F - 180° C for about 12-14 min (depending on the intensity of the oven).
  5. When the cookies come out of the oven they are still very soft, so wait for them to cool and then store in an airtight container.

Note from Greek jar:

I preferred the bitter almond extract because it's one of my favorites and goes perfectly with the rest of the ingredients. For those of you who don't love this flavor, you can add vanilla extract, vanillin or any other extract of your preference.
