Ingredients
- 250 g orange cake
- 200 g orange marmalade
- 1 tsp orange extract (optional)
For the topping:
- 180 - 200 g couverture
- 1 - 2 tsp seed oil
For decoration:
- Edible ingredients of your preference
How to
1. In a bowl, grate the cake either with your hands or using a blender.
2. Add the marmalade and orange extract and mix until the ingredients are combined.
3. Form 20 g balls and transfer to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
4. Melt the couverture, having added the seed oil, in a bain-marie or in the microwave and dip the balls in it until they are coated.
5. Transfer onto parchment paper and decorate with edible ingredients of your preference.
Note from Greek jar:
You may need less or more marmalade depending on the moisture content of the cake and marmalade. I used my own homemade orange marmalade that also contains orange peel. You will add as much as you need in order to get a mixture that molds easily.
