Ingredients

  • 500 g pomegranate seeds
  • 450 g tsipouro or vodka
  • 400 g sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves

How to

  1. Deseed the pomegranates and put the seeds in a saucepan.
  2. Add the sugar, tsipouro or vodka, cinnamon stick and cloves.
  3. Boil for 5 min.
  4. Leave the liquid in the saucepan for 24 hours, covered with its lid.
  5. Strain it and the liqueur is ready.
  6. Transfer in a bottle and enjoy it at room temperature or put it in the fridge if you prefer it cold.
