20 breadsticks - 20 round cookies
Ingredients
- 250 g hard flour (for brioche)
- 250 g wholemeal flour
- 200 g seed oil
- 100 g white wine
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp baking soda
- 200 g grated carrots
How to
- In a bowl, add the seed oil, wine, paprika, salt, baking soda and mix with a hand whisk. Add the carrots.
- Continue with the flour and baking powder and knead until you have a pliable dough.
- Divide the dough into 20 g pieces and shape them with your hands into breadsticks, 20 cm long each or round cookies 15 cm long each.
- Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven (set to fan) at 355 oF - 180 oC for 25 - 30 min. For the round cookies you may need another 5 - 10 min baking time if you want them crispy.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack and enjoy.
Note from Greek jar:
Instead of paprika you can use cayenne pepper. It's slightly stronger than paprika, so it would be better to minimize the amount and put 1 tsp.
