Ingredients

  • 500 g vegetable whipping cream, cold
  • 400 g sweetened condensed milk, cold
  • 400 g evaporated milk, cold
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract or 2 sachets vanillin or 2 vanillin capsules
  • 250 g various spoon sweets or glazed fruits cut into small pieces (you can add more or less, according to your preference)

How to

  1. In a mixer's bowl, beat the vegetable whipping cream until stiff and continue by adding little by little the sweetened condensed milk.
  2. Add the evaporated milk and vanilla extract and continue beating just until incorporated, no more.
  3. Pour your mixture, preferably into a stainless steel container, cover and transfer to the freezer for about 5 - 6 hours. The ice cream will be partially thickened. Add the glazed fruits and stir.
  4. Leave the ice cream in the freezer for about 8 hours, after adding the spoon sweets or glazed fruits.
  5. Remove from freezer 10 min before serving.

Note from Greek jar:

If you want your ice cream to be fluffier, place it in the freezer for 1 hour, beat it again in the mixer for 1 - 2 min and repeat the process every hour for 2 - 3 times. Continue with the addition of glazed fruits, as described above (step 3).

The best time to add the glazed fruits is when the ice cream has partially set, so that they are well mixed and do not sit on the bottom of the bowl.

If you don't have a special ice cream container, cover the surface of the bowl with plastic wrap and then close with the lid. This prevents the formation of crystals.

If you use an ice cream maker, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
