Ingredients
- 200 g oat flakes, ground into a powder (oat flour)
- 100 g almond powder (almond flour)
- 160 g cocoa tahini
- 140 g honey
- 2 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp clove powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 120 g small black raisins
- Sesame seeds
- Cocoa tahini for filling(optional)
How to
- In a bowl, mix all the solid ingredients: oat powder, almond powder, cinnamon powder, clove powder and baking soda.
- Continue with the raisins and also add to the mixture the honey and the tahini.
- Stir until the mixture is combined.
- Form into 20 g balls. You can make your cookies bigger if you like.
- Roll the balls in sesame seeds and transfer them to a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in a preheated oven (set to fan) at 340 oF - 170 oC for 12 min, no longer.
- You can leave them domed or press them while they are still soft with the bottom of a glass to give them a wider shape, especially if you choose to fill them.
- Let them cool on a wire rack, fill with tahini and enjoy! Just as delicious without the filling!
Note from Greek jar:
The tahini should not be too runny to be able to "stand" in the cookie.
Cocoa tahini contains sugar. We can easily make our cookies sugar-free by using sugar-free tahini!
